Where you will work

At Öster Mälarstrand, we offer 90 apartments spread over five floors. 54 apartments are intended for people with dementia and 36 for people with somatic conditions. Each floor has a kitchen with dining area as well as a living room and a large balcony. We also have a rooftop terrace for coffee breaks, barbecuing, and activities. On the ground floor, you will find a communal area with a fireplace, café, restaurant, and access to our inner courtyard. We also have larger rooms for activities, parties, or other events. The surroundings of the residence offer beautiful walking paths along Mälaren or in green areas. In the vicinity, there are also playgrounds, restaurants, a grocery store, and bus stops.Description of the operation

Who are you?

You are responsible, independent, and confident in making priorities and leading others. You enjoy mentoring staff in health and medical care issues, are unpretentious, and are motivated by organizing care in the best way together with your colleagues.

In your role, you will have continuous dialogue with relatives and inform them of changes in health status. You will collaborate with colleagues, doctors, and possibly others, both internal and external contacts, to ensure good care.

Description of the position

We are currently looking for several full-time colleagues for a temporary or special fixed-term employment agreement primarily over the summer with an employment rate of ”100 %” starting from 2026-06-01.

• Licensed nurse

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing

We would like you to have previous experience in elderly care.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at creating good relationships and being service-oriented. With us, we work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to present an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
